EPISODE SUMMARY:
As far as time periods to get stuck in go, at least in terms of musical taste, the 1970s are hard to beat. Some of the most iconic artists cut their teeth in that era, and several genres and subgenres of music were birthed during that period as well. One perfect example is the band Black Sabbath, who spawned every heavy metal act that ever followed in their bloody-booted footsteps. Comedian Jim Norton will never forget the time he first heard their 1971 album Master of Reality, and how its endearingly evil sound stuck with him forever.
