EPISODE SUMMARY:
Some musicians reach such elevated status in the pantheon of rock 'n roll history that only an artist of equal repute can daine to provide worthy commentary on their contributions. Such is the case with Eric Clapton, whose name will live on forever as having not only been a part of some of the biggest bands in the world, including the Yardbirds, Derek. and the Dominos, and Cream, but also as being peerless and untouchable in his skill at blues guitar. Only a musician with as much raw talent and musical magnetism as Joe Satriani can come close to Clapton's level, having been nominated for 15 Grammys and either toured with or trained such titans of guitar as Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde, and Kirk Hammett. And it is with much grace and reverence that Joe is able to pull back the curtain and see what went into the creation of Clapton's 1974 release 461 Ocean Boulevard.
