EPISODE SUMMARY:
Johnny Cash has put out almost 100 albums, so to have an album as a favorite means you really have to do your research. 1994's "American Recordings" (Produced by Rick Rubin) was a late in his career album for Johnny Cash, but also one that reintroduced him to a global audience. One such fan is comedian and actor Jeff Ross, who would listen to Johnny Cash while growing up in his parents house in New Jersey up as a blue collar Jew. Johnny Cash and Jeff Ross have both performed in front of inmates who are serving time. Johnny's Live at Folsom Prison is still a few records away, so until then feel free to stream "Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live From Brazos County Jail" on Paramount Plus.
