EPISODE SUMMARY:

To this day, few bands can dream of gaining even a fraction of the following British rockers The Who has accrued over the years. More impressive than their millions of fans all over the world, though is their universal respect amongst tastemakers and music aficionados. Several of their 12 studio albums are widely considered masterpieces. But the truly knowledgeable experts like critic David Wild know that what makes them really special is the early chaos of their 1966 sophomore record A Quick One, when their innocent enthusiasm and reckless energy really launched them onto the worldstage. And David is an expert indeed, having not only written for Rolling Stone, The Grammys, MTV and VH1, but also having personally known many of the greatest performers in history as well.
