EPISODE SUMMARY:
We as humans remain in a constant state of flux between longing for the comfort of the past and yearning for the possibilities of the future. At least, that is the thesis of dance-punk trendsetters LCD Soundsystem's 2007 album Sound of Silver. Frontman James Murphy makes no bones about this album being an expression of the delicate balance between those two states of wanting. And it is the fascinating exploration of the life of an artist in particular which drew comedian Wil Anderson to the group's music. A true artist in his own right, Wil has been a recipient of countless awards for his broadcasting, stand-up specials and podcasts.
