EPISODE SUMMARY:

While conventional wisdom may hold certain things to be true about the quality or importance of an artist's contributions to the cultural canon, there will always be contrarians willing to buck tradition and fly in the face of grand assertions. Such is the case with musical comedian Reggie Watts, whose own unique body of work, including roles as the band leader for both IFC's Comedy Bang Bang and CBS's The Late Late Show with James Corden, has long since established him as an unconventional thinker and singular voice. Reggie is one of the few members of the school of thought which argues that despite the overall importance of The Beatles catalogue, Paul McCartney's best work didn't come until later when he formed Wings, even if it took the band until its third album, 1973's Band On The Run, to reach the level of Paul's earlier acclaim.
