EPISODE SUMMARY:
There's fans, there's superfans, and then there are people like Jeff Dye whose surprisingly profound connection to the melancholic anger of alternative rock trendsetters Nirvana stands in stark defiance of everything else about him. Jeff's blissfully ignorant zest for life has led him to progress to the finals of NBC's Last Comic Standing, release a half-hour special on Comedy Central, and host two series for MTV. But much like Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, Jeff grew up in a poor family just outside of Seattle. And while Kurt's journey was cut tragically short, both he and Jeff have strived to craft singular artistic voices that draw followers to them.
