EPISODE SUMMARY:

It's easy for Americans, self-obsessed as they are, to forget that an enormous audience exists outside the ubiquitously dominant music industry in the United States. But artists, and even entire genres of music that aren't getting the attention they deserve in the Land of the Free often have massive followings around the world. Some, like electronica icon Moby, even come from America. but it takes an international following to make their work a success, as in the case of his 1999 album Play, which is the highest-selling album of that genre around the world to date. Hence why Netherlands native artist and musician Nick van Hofwegen of Young and Sick is intimately familiar with the tracks contained therein.
